I do offer basic support to help traders get started, but if you’re looking for free strategies, remember that they’re often worth what you pay: nothing. Trading success comes from understanding the market, managing risk and developing a solid plan, not from relying on quick, free tips. While I’m happy to provide guidance, I believe in sharing the reality of what it takes to be successful rather than offering shortcuts that won’t deliver long-term results.
No, I do not offer any guarantees of success. Trading is inherently risky, and success depends on individual effort, discipline and learning. There are no magic formulas or shortcuts in this business. Only consistent work, risk management and experience can lead to profitable results over time. My goal is to share what I’ve learned from nearly 20 years of trading, but ultimately, success is up to each trader.

I don’t offer free courses directly, but there is a great free course on BabyPips, which is an excellent resource for beginners. I also share plenty of insights and practical trading tips on my YouTube channel. These can help you build a solid foundation in trading without any cost.

There are also plenty of Scruffy meet-ups at various hotels for the Scruffy Squad to get together, so that could be a great opportunity to meet. If you see me at forex conferences or even just on the street, feel free to say hello. People often stop me, and I always take the time to listen.
The Scruffy Squad is a diverse and welcoming community for traders of all levels, from beginners to seasoned pros. We’re united by a shared passion for trading and a commitment to helping each other succeed. Whether you’re here to learn, share ideas or just be part of a supportive group, you’ll feel at home.
That said, we believe in keeping things real. The Squad is a non-woke environment with a good dose of adult humour, so if you’re easily offended, it might not be the best fit. We’re about solid conversations, plenty of laughs and genuine support.
If you’re the argumentative type or someone who pulls others down, we won’t welcome that kind of energy. In that case, it’s best to look elsewhere. The Squad thrives on positivity, mutual respect and a shared drive to grow, so bring your best self, and let’s trade together.
